Interesting season 9 spoiler from ComicCon
So...
what could that mean?
Any theories?

"There is a situation that is happening that Dean is aware of and is having to keep quiet about and it's a very substantial secret," Ackles said. However, it sounds like fans won't have to wait long to get the dirt on what Dean is hiding. "There's a real surprise in the first episode that no one's going to see coming. There's going to be a few gasps," executive producer Robert Singer said. "It's something new for them. We've never done it before. I've never seen it done before."

My theory is all the lost angel grace have gone to Sam and that's why he is healed. But the twist is that after one year on earth Sam will die and go to heaven. The bigger twist is that because he is full of grace, he won't share a heaven with Dean and that they will be eternally separated. So Dean keeps this vital information from Sam and tries to enjoy the 1 year he has left with Sam. This is flip of season 3 where instead of Dean having 1 year on earth before forced into Hell and eternally separated from Sam, it's Sam having 1 year on earth before forced into Heaven and eternally separated from Dean.

Since Sam is quite ill when S9 starts (quoting Robert Singer from Comic Con magazine) and its "how he comes back from this that is a real spoiler"

Which summing it up is what Dean is keeping from Sam.

My theory is Deans only option to save Sam is injecting him with Crowleys blood as Sam had just come within a hair of curing him, a demon and Dean feels it could cure Sam.

I think Dean needing to inject Sam with this combination of blood which contains demon blood might be the way Dean saves Sam and it also might be Carvers way of untainting the negative spin Kripke put on the demon blood storyline and Sams good intentions.

Carver has been setting a lot of things right and with reversing the boys positions Dean now would feel like Sam once did that he had no choice but to use the demon blood to save his brother.

Theory number 2 - Dean injecting Sam with his own blood saves him. I like this theory much better as it sounds more like Carver finding another way to bring the boys closer. But what reason could there be for Dean not telling him?
