Maybe Somebody Of My Flist Knows The Answere.....
I´ve been using Sony Vegas 7.0 for my fanvideos since a few years, but I have a big problem with this video program.
Sony Vegas won't import some avi files.

So what can I do that it works? I´m really helpless. :o(

I have to convert each Supernatural episode in .wmv format, but this needs much storage, because I have each episode in .avi AND in .wmv

Also, it´s infuriating, because after converting the episodes in a .wmv file the quality get´s worse.

Is there any codec I have to use???

Please....please! I need some help!

I don`t use Vegas, and I don`t use avi`s (although I have Vegas7, it plays nasty with some of my files also), but I`m almost 100% sure it`s a codec problem.

avi´s are tricky.

my surgestion would be, ask at one of the vidding comms (like this comm: vidding_tech ) , or search the tags over there. I`m sure the question about Vegas and avi`s was asked before, and I guess you`ll get/find an answere for your problem.
